A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Chapel Hill, NC. This contract assignment runs through the remainder of the current school year and focuses on providing essential speech and language support to students across multiple schools.
Location: Chapel Hill, NC (On-site preferred; virtual work considered)
Assignment Duration: ASAP through June 11, 2026
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Schools Served: Rolesville Middle School (full-time placement), with additional caseload support at Pleasant Union Elementary and Harris Creek Elementary School
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students according to individual student needs
- Support and manage school-based caseloads effectively
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP development and implementation
- Participate in tele-supervision as allowed
- Maintain professional licensure and educator certification to meet state requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid professional license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Educator certificate required for school-based service delivery
- Demonstrated experience with school-based speech therapy and IEP processes
- Ability to provide both in-person and virtual services as needed
